This certification recognises businesses that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. It examines how we care for our people, govern our business, support our communities, serve our guests, and protect the landscapes we operate in.

While we're honoured to have earned this certification, the values behind it have always belonged to the people who make this place possible. The conservancies are owned by Maasai and Samburu families, many of whom are also our colleagues, who chose to protect their land rather than sell it.

To everyone who has travelled with us, this milestone belongs to you too. Every stay has supported families who chose conservation over compromise. That commitment is now certified, though the work itself has been there all along.

• Independent verification — our B Corp™ certification is assessed and confirmed by a nonprofit with no stake in our success

• Every part of the business, not just the parts that flatter us — the assessment covers how we treat our workers, govern the company, support our community, serve our guests, and steward the land, with no single area allowed to carry the rest

• No shortcuts on governance — certification requires us to formally commit, in our own legal structure, to weighing people and land alongside profit, not as a side note
